Important Notice for all Dragon and Lion Dance pupils
Dragon and Lion Dance will be officially commenced on 11 February 2012, Saturday, from 8am to 10am.
All Dragon and Lion Dance pupils are supposed to attend first half of CCSP on every Friday, commencing from 3 February 2012, Friday, 1.30pm to 3pm.
Are you interested to be involved with a traditional art while building your body up physically and promoting traditional Chinese cultural arts and to preserve the skills and techniques of Dragon and Lion dancing?
Join Rulang Dragon and Lion Dance Club and be a part of this traditional Chinese culture. The pupils will require to go through a set of physical exercises before learning their basic dragon and lion dancing stunts. They will have the opportunity to be taught on how to manoeuvre the dragon and lion head in expressing the various emotions as well as learning how to play the drum and the cymbals (an integral part of dragon and lion dancing). Not to forget, the big flag routine which is also a part of the repertoire.
Dragon and lion performances are being put up during Chinese New Year celebration, Speech Day and many more.
